I'll join later, maybe. I like them and all, but I'm not that big of a fan. Personally, I'm happy to see them growing so quickly. They deserve the fame as much as any other band.

Honestly, I don't think it's necessary to bite his head off over the small matter. And, I think you could have been more kind when you said that. Maybe you should try being nicer about it.
