1. That link doesn't work.
2. You can learn to play the acoustic guitar on your own. Learn what sound can be made, listen to an acoustic song and learn how to play a acoustic song.
I've started recently playing an acoustic guitar and my friend told me that. I've been doing that for the entire time and, I'm almost as good as I am on my bass. You don't really need to buy something to learn how to play an instrument, the sooner you learn that, the better. :)
