If you backtrack the evolution of modern day music you will find that all of the artists today is in some way or another linked to the musical revolution that Rolling Stones played a key role of. And considering Jagger/Richards OVERWHELMING songbook, I think it is borderline blasphemy to label them a "cover band". I am aware that they borrowed a lot from blues artists such as Howlin' Wolf during their first couple of years but from 1965 and on the records prove an unsurpassed combination of songwriting, talent and image. BTW, I love the Stones. Wink
