Completely agree. Disco was the premise for Dance Music: the first Kind of Dance Music. 1974's 'I Feel Love' recorded by Donna Summer was in fact, the first techno tune. Her vocals were put through the Moog - a completely new treatment for that era. Theres so much to Disco that gets ignored or is simply not heard or seen. The instrumental and recording treatments of this time are so advanced. In fact: this would be applicable to the 1970s in general! I listen to so much music of today and find that 1970s recording treatments were far more advanced. Thats prolly also due to the death of Analogue. (*bloody Digital). BeeGees were absolute masters. I wrote a case study on their tunes. And such talented musos! Not just amazing singers, but fabulous song writers, musicians wowo.. Alas and Alack for the 70s.. Disco didnt die.. it simply evolved and flew to a higher realm. ________________________ If the Bass is too hard, you are too soft.
