Know this 1975-1977 song? Help? Can't Post

Hello! I am having a lot of trouble finding this one -- it's weird how songs just completely disappear.

Song in period of 1975-78 -- lots of airplay on FM album rock stations in San Diego -- an up tempo folksy bluesy sort of rock tune. Male lead vocal. (I can play it on piano but have now forgotten a lot of the lyrics)

These are the lyric fragments that I recall and/or estimate:

"So if you're feeling low, [-----] and the world has really socked it to ya,

[------] singin' Glory Hallelujah.
Hallelu - u - u - u - u - u - u - yah
(repeated chorus Hallelujah 2 or 3 times by backup girl singers)

I thought it was from the Grateful Dead, but I've searched extensively and not found it.

[This is *not* the song "Games People Play" that has the line "And they really sock it to ya, in the name of the Lord. Totally different. It is also not the Hallelujah song by Sweathog, circa 1969]

If you'd like to try it, I have the notes to play it on Musipedia.org, so at least you can hear the basic melody and refrain. [You paste the string in the box and then play it. Try it more than once if it doesn't work the first time.]

Melody:
c''4 dis''8 c''4 ais'8 gis'4 f'8 ais'8. ais'8 ais'8. gis'4 c''8. c''8 c''8. c''8 gis'4 f'4

Refrain:
c''4 dis''8 c''4 ais'8 gis'4 f'8 ais'2 ais'4 gis'8 c''8 ais'8 gis'8 f'4 dis'8 f'4

Thank you for any suggestions you may have!
