Chicago, The Eagles, Hotel California Rocked!! The Beatles too.

Yah, the Beatles...They weren't the 70's and they had only a few rock songs..The rest I totally agree with.

I think the list 'VX Corpse' is pretty accurate. The bands that are still played today on the radio are probably the best bands as they has lastabillity/timelessness.

But I think Led Zeppelin is definitely the best band of the 70's, or any other era for that matter.

you guys forgot grand funk railroad.they blew america in 1970.they sold out shea stadium in the fastest time beating the beatles record. the who,sabbath, thin lizzy,crosby ,sttills ,nash and young, ten years after,santana,and most of the british bands of the 70s
