ABOUT THE BEGINNING OF THE MUSIC

It is quiet difficult to speak or write about the starting point of something because defining the beginning means trying to express the reason of antological transitoriness between the existence end nonexistence of what is actually mentioned. Setting out from the fact that ''nothing exists from nonexistent'', beginnings can be defined as something's taking shape of another thing.
These writtens express the abstract perspective. Beginning is a directed value. From this sense, it can be studied historically.
When the beginnig itself has something to do with art, we need to talk about objects and subjects and further more about the human being and artistic materials.
After a few steps, under the title of ''music'', the rest of this topic will go on with the sound (artistic material), the means that were created by the human being to perform the sound and the relationship between the human being ''itself'' and what he created self (music)...
Let's try to write something about the ''sound'' -the building stone of music- delaying to think and search about ''what'' the human being is (or agreeing on the knowledge that is obtained from daily practices).
Besides being an energy, the sound is -thanks to its esthetics value possibility- an artistic material. Now, I will try to write something about the origin of the materials which were used to perform music.
The musical materials are instruments. Chronological, the first instrument is the human being sound, with which religious services were made and it was the most powerful form of communication among the people from a big distance. With the time, different materials (like horn) were used as resonance item in order to axpand the sound resonant.
Being quite primitive in producing at this mentioned time, the human being had to conform to another ones on works because of unavoidable collective production. Rhythm, repeating times, was commonly seen in the nature and was never unfamiliar to the person...
The human being firstly clapped his hands, then chafed his feet synchronologicly. So he created his first rhythm with his body. Later, he started to tap out the tree cavities with wooden rods and stretched pelts on the wooden hollow places, which are the ancestors of today's percussion instruments.
In hunter-harvester communities, arrow and bow were the main means of a hunter. The sound that was formed with the resonance of the bow in air must have been an intellectual spark to the stringed instruments, which were first made with strings, tied from one tree to another. Then, with a circular tray for resonance, added to expand the sound strength, the first historical examples of today's stringed instruments were created.
The person is a good observer of the nature. He can seperate his observations into groups and turn them into abstract and general current knowledge by different reasons. In his own production, the person has many times copied the nature. The birth of wind instruments are also a result of such practice. This time, the poerson is enlightened by the whistles that were aired from the reeds in bulrushes, as the wind blew. Later, the reeds were shaped in various sizes according to their sounds. Perforations were made on these reeds and different sounds (in different frets) were in this way discovered. The form of today's wooden wind instruments come from this structure.
The mumbles that occured during the psychological intensity n religious services and hardly visible melodies were the first experimantal music studies of the person.
Later, by copying the sounds of other living creatures, new melodies were created. These melodies, which may also be studied under language, were reflective words. The first melodies were made in honour of Gods and the doors of person's original creation were opened. Later, this tradition continued for ''half-God hereos''.
Being very difficult to give up, the music was given an enchanting character due to its unbelievable feature of changing the feelings of the person. This is the first time he started to examine the metaphysical character of the music. Maybe the first time, he took fright from it... In the advancing periods of the history, people tried to understand completely the psychologial effects of the music -which was once considered as enchanting- on the person and they used it for curing the illnesses. Another usage of music was in wars for ''courage to the supporters and fear to the enemies'' and it had an important practice area in campaigns and war areas.
