Ideas please	Can't Post

Hey. Im new to the site and am looking to start composing a song for my dad. He died over a year ago and its the anniversary of his death in June and I am looking to write a piece for him. I like the Evanescence song - "My Immortal" and "Heaven hold the ones I love" (not sure who the artist was tho..) to give you an idea what im looking for. Anyone heard any good songs or can think of any good lyrics that I can build on....

Appreciate your help guys

One of my best friends past away 2 years ago i am so sorry to hear about your dad. i write poetry for my friend and leave it at his grave. i cant help you with your song but when the time is right the perfect words from your heart will come to you. Good Luck
