hello,

im new to sheet music, and just came across something strange that i dont recognize. its a note (i believe an f) after the treble cleff but before the measure begins. its in the same space where you would put a sharp or flat for the rest of the notes. can you please ansewr? thank you very much!

Hey, so your saying that this note was after the clef and before the time signature? if its after the time signature then its probably an anacrusis which means the piece starts with an imcomplete bar and then completes it in the ending bar.
