I run an internet radio station. Speaking of music promotion, if you think you're ready for the internet, you should go to www.airplaydirect.com and submit some music.

I find a lot of local independent music there, and you'd be surprised at the online radio stations that will give independent artists the chance that "over the air" radio stations won't give.

Just another option. Contacting the radio station via email is helpful as well.
