Hi,

I'm new to listening to Hip-Hop what are some good bands I should listen to?

And I dont want this thread to be WOW I made a new band it's gr8 because there will be too much spamming....

Try searching through www.unversalmotown.com. This label has been around for years and is responsible for the greats ie. Marving Gaye, The Temptations, the Supremes. They currently have a great roster with mostly hip hip and r&b artists.

Wow, that was a good list... I'll go ahead and Throw JR Writer up there too... Canibus is pretty good, besides the beef with EM... Ofcourse Jay-Z, but the above list pretty much covers as a great place to start :P From there everyone else kinda branches off.
