In the late seventies, there was a cultural revolution happening.The revolution, like most in the beginning was not televised and recieved very little radio love with the exception of a very small group of college d.j.'s. This revolution was called HIP HOP. A few years later, Russell Simmons and Rick Ruben took the world by storm with two of the most influential groups the world had ever seen. Run DMC and The Beastie Boys. Now, twenty years later, the once small underground revolution is a worldwide phenomenon. Hip hop has broken down more racial and cultural barriers than any other thing on the planet. Even though a huge portion of the billions of dollars created every year from hip hop is from white people, the media sources that cover the history and progression of the culture consistently report that white rappers are either stealing the hip hop culture or not talented enough to matter. WHITE BOYS CAN'T RAP THE MOVIE sheds light on the facts...............
