AfterHourz 10th August @ The Jubilee (up-stairs)
AfterHourz events are dedicated to exposing some of the world’s best music being played by local artists. There is a fleet of great talent in this city and AfterHourz goal is to set a platform for these great local dj's, artists & vj's to be exposed. While saying that, expect to see international artists making appearances at AfterHourz gigs in the near future. AfterHourz will become a regular event, right now the venue selected for AfterHourz is the up stairs section of the Jubilee. We picked this venue because of its close location to the city, and also because of its nice layout. Being also that it has a nice outside section upstairs close to the bar that will also allow for smokers.
Segue - Live
Segue formed in early 2006 as a result of two producers sharing many late nights renewing their love of dark clubs amid a sea-changes of sound. Veterans of their respective genres, Leo Hede and Dave Dri have received acclaim for their performances from the very internationals they began supporting. An assault of progressive house and acid tech via a monster live rig, Segue are electric. www.seguesound.com
Audible Matter – Live
Matthew Martin is an up and coming local producer originally from Northern NSW. His style and ability have developed greatly over the past few years, and its starting to show from the following from the outdoor circuit. While mainly minimal and never boring, Audible Matter is a unique sound that will get any dance floor moving. www.myspace.com/audiblematter
Altered Visions - VDJ
After spending another 8-months in the studio, and having their first video clip under their belt. Altered Visions is coming out to show some of the work that had been done. Expect to see some amazing new visuals on top of a moving psycadelic set. Altered also has some new effects toys, which will surely only add to the performance. www.altered-visions.net
