Formed originally in 2007 as a husband-and-wife acoustic duo with Jason's dynamic guitars and Rebecca's sensational vocals and guitars, the Rutherford's were introduced to the talents of bassist Jerry Haines and drummer Kevin Dager, forming the present Rutherford Rock Project.
Quit Wasting Tape is a collection of sweet sounds inspired by simple inspirations: attraction, affection, rejection, apathy, envy, bliss, and desire. The twelve-song collection offers ear-pleasing acoustic tones, sensual vocals and a strong rhythm section that drives solid grooves, energy and passion conducive to listening over and over again.
