its like comparing apples and oranges. Ones bluesy with a big emphasis on guitar while the other actually has a good singer. I'd have to say Led Zep is the better band just because they have better songs, but I still definitely aknowledge without Hendrix, guitar playing today would not be like it would without him. I don't think it's apples & oranges if you compare the Jimi Hendrix Experience to Led Zeppelin, except that it's 3 against 4. Thank god there's room in the world for both. When it comes to sitting down and listening, I think I prefer LZ, mildly. Great acts, both of them. Wonderful records to hear, even now. Can't praise them enough. -Tribrix

Thats an absolutely ridiculous claim. I believe that you say he was a "fucked up man" to make it seem as though you are familiar with his music or even the person. Jimi Hendrix was an average man that made decent music. He is put on a pedestal because he is one of few well known artists with any talent whatsoever.
