I would say that I prefer old bands rather then new ones ........and why?.....hmm...because they are magic! and c'mon they brought so much into today's music not only the tunes but also rock attitude!

ok the old ones had great influence on new rock bands, but the new bands really rock on concerts! and have really great sens of style.....

There is plenty of good new music out there, but it is certainly not the majority. The biggest reason good music is not in the forefront compared to how it used to be is that the record companies have sucked all of the soul out of popular music. There are more and more artists out there who are taking their own promotion into their own hands through social networking sites, and smaller labels.

I love the sound and the variety of the old bands. The new bands all seem to sound alike. Maybe I'm just getting old, but the older bands really seemed to each have their unique sound.
